Deus é fiel!....hein?/ God is Faithful!... hm?
Tá aí uma frase na qual penso a respeito há muitos anos… sempre que a vejo, quase todos os dias, estampada em carros, na maioria das vezes...:
‘Deus é Fiel!’
Essa frase me incomoda de um jeito intenso, principalmente se paro para refletir sobre os dias em que vivemos...
As pessoas querem que Deus seja fiel e por isso assim o escrevem, mas será que as pessoas são fiéis a Ele?!
Essa é minha principal indagação...
Porque que Deus (aliás, dê o nome que quiser: Universo, Natureza, energia, Jah, Alah...) é fiel está mais do que provado, é Ele quem te sustenta todo dia, é Ele quem te permite acordar toda manhã, é a energia dele que te habita e te move... literalmente... Agora minha pergunta se repete, e você, é fiel a Ele?
Vamos pegar todos os valores ou princípios de cada um dos livros religiosos (Bíblias diversas, Torá, etc), se você tiver interesse verá que os mais básicos e importantes se repetem e mantém -se, independente da Religião... você sabe quais são?
- não matarás
- não adulterarás
- não cobiçarás o que não te pertence e não furtarás
- não darás falso testemunho
- Honra teu pais

Você os segue? Mas quando faço essa pergunta, quero saber se você ao menos se esforça para implementá-los em suas atitudes e comportamentos no dia a dia, com a devida flexibilidade que cada situação exige....
O seu esforço e comprometimento equivalem a sua fidelidade, ao quão fiel você é a Deus (ou etcs...).
Esses valores ou princípios nada mais são do que valores éticos... já pensou a respeito?
Quando vivemos uma vida de valores, vivemos uma vida de ética, e geralmente ao vivermos uma vida ética, a empatia tende a surgir, pois naturalmente começamos a aplicar um daqueles velhos ditados: ‘não faça com outro o que você não gostaria que fizessem com você’ em todas as situações... e sabe quem você honra ao agir e viver assim? Você mesmo e cada um que cruza teu caminho, todos habitados por essa ‘energia de Deus’, e como resultado, você honra Deus (ou etcs), é fiel... Ou seja, seguindo os preceitos éticos básicos aí estará sendo Fiel, a ti mesmo, porque Deus, ou como queira chamar, te permeia, permeia a todos... e todos somos!
Então, poderíamos dizer assim: se você nem pensa em se comprometer ou fazer o básico, não cabe pedir que Ele lhe seja fiel, né?!

Here it is a sentene in which I think about for a long time… every time I see it, almost every day, stamped on cars, most of the times...:
‘God is Faithful/Loyal!’
This sentence bothers me in an intense way, specially if I stop to think about the days we’re living in...
People want God to be loyal/faithful and maybe that’s why they write it so much, but are they faithful or loyal to Him?!
This is my inquiry...
That God (you can name It the way you like: Universe, nature, Energy, Jah, Alah…) is loyal it is proven, since it is Him who supports you every day, it is Him who allows you to wake up every morning, He is the energy that inhabits you and moves you… literally… Now my question comes again, what about you, are you faithful/loyal to Him?
Let’s take all the principles and values each of the Religious books (Bible, Torah, etc), if you’re interested you can see that the most basic and important ones repeat and keep themselves, doesn’t matter the religion... Do you know them ?
- you shall not kill
- you shall not commit adultery
- you shall not covet what doesn’t belong to you and you shall not steal
- you shall not bear false witness
- Honor your parents

.
Do you follow them? But when I make this question, I want to know if you, at least, try to implement them in your daily attitudes and behaviors, with enough flexibility for different situations…
Your hard work, effort and commitment are equivalent to your loyalty and faith, with how much loyal/faithful you are to God (etcs…).
These values or principles are nothing less than ethical values… Have you ever thought about that?
When we live a life of principles, we live an ethical life, and often, by living an ethical life, empathy emerges, and naturally we start to live by that old saying: ‘don’t do to others what you wouldn’t like was done to you’ in all situations… and guess who you honor while acting and living like that? YourSelf, and each One that crosses your way, everyone inhabited by this ‘Energy’, and as a result, you honor God (etcs..), you are loyal/faithful…
In other words, by following the basic ethical principles you’ll be loyal and true to yourself, because God, or whatever you’d like to call it, permeates you, and all… and We just Are!
So, we could say this: if you don’t even think about committing yourself in doing the basics, you should think if it’s ok to ‘ask Him’ to be Loyal, don’t you think?!
