Preconceito? Onde exatamente...?/Prejudice? Where exactly…?
Questionamentos não saem da minha mente...
Devido às tantas manifestações que vem ocorrendo há tempos, mas neste momento de forma mais intensa, por questões de gênero, cor de pele e outras diferenciações...
Não quero, de forma alguma, depreciar o direito de ninguém à manifestação do que pensa, no entanto, sempre me pergunto, por que não fazer diferente?
Há muitos anos, tentamos ‘acabar’ com questões deste tipo, e embora tenha havido amenizações, elas nunca são de fato resolvidas, como remédios que não curam, apenas remediam...
Será que não está na hora de nos vermos como povo, como humanos que somos?
Nossa característica mais básica neste mundo em que vivemos é sermos humanos, e teoricamente, inteligentes. Temos habilidades para melhorarmos e adequarmos nossos modos de vida, de alimentação etc... e em nenhum desses casos, a cor da pele, o gênero, e outros, fazem qualquer diferença. As únicas coisas que fazem diferença são os talentos, as capacidades e forças que cada um tem para agregar.
Pensando assim, somos todos um só povo, certo? Então, como humanos, por que categorizar?
O preconceito existe naquilo, ou melhor, naquele que separa. Porque, em geral, em nossa sociedade, o que é separado, torna-se ‘diferente’, excluído.
Faz-se a necessidade de perguntar:
De quem é o preconceito? Daquele que separa com ações agressivas, quaisquer que sejam? Ou de quem separa o outro diferenciando-o em grupos?
... Ambos?
Que diferença faz se uma obra, entregue em perfeitas condições, como deve ser sempre, foi realizada por um engenheiro preto, azul, verde ou branco?
Todas as atividades, em qualquer sociedade, devem ser feitas simplesmente porque precisam ser feitas, nem mais nem menos, e para isso é necessário que tenhamos indivíduos capazes de realizá-las de forma adequada. A cor, o gênero, altura, peso, não fazem a menor diferença, a vontade e o talento fazem!
Não é necessário dizer que somos sim, todos diferentes um dos outros, fisicamente, emocionalmente, mentalmente, mas quando focamos na diferença, na maioria das vezes, perdemos de vista o conceito do todo, de quem nós somos: Humanos! Sendo assim, quando a diferença deveria ser o acréscimo, ou seja, aquilo que vem para agregar e somar, acaba sendo usada para excluir.
Às vezes escuto ou leio: ‘mas uma hora temos que lutar pelos direitos de uma minoria que não foi respeitada...’
Para isso há uma resposta, na Constituição dos países mais decentes do mundo, você sabia? Dá uma olhada...
''Art. 1º A República Federativa do Brasil, formada pela união indissolúvel dos Estados e Municípios e do Distrito Federal, constitui-se em Estado Democrático de Direito e tem como fundamentos:
I - a soberania;
II - a cidadania;
III - a dignidade da pessoa humana;
IV - os valores sociais do trabalho e da livre iniciativa;
V - o pluralismo político.
Parágrafo único. Todo o poder emana do povo, que o exerce por meio de representantes eleitos ou diretamente, nos termos desta Constituição. [...]
Art. 3º Constituem objetivos fundamentais da República Federativa do Brasil:
I - construir uma sociedade livre, justa e solidária;
II - garantir o desenvolvimento nacional;
III - erradicar a pobreza e a marginalização e reduzir as desigualdades sociais e regionais;
IV - promover o bem de todos, sem preconceitos de origem, raça, sexo, cor, idade e quaisquer outras formas de discriminação."
Consegue compreender? Não precisa criar grupos de minorias! Precisamos destruir esse conceito de minorias! Precisamos usar, e MUITO, o conceito de HUMANIDADE.
Quer cobrar algo? Cobre para que os artigos da Constituição sejam cumpridos.
Assim, se alguém, qualquer dia, cometer um ato criminoso, não será condenado porque fez algo de errado contra um indivíduo preto, verde, amarelo, ou gay, será porque fez algo contra um SER HUMANO.
Muitas vezes a gente acredita estar lutando contra um ponto problemático, mas, na real, só estamos aumentando o problema!

Questions simply don’t leave my mind…
Due to all these protests that have been taking place for quite some time, but more intensely at this moment; on the topics of gender, color of skin, and other differentiation.
I don’t want, in any way, depreciate anybody’s right to express what they think, however, I always ask myself, why not do it in a different way?
For so many years, we’ve been trying to ‘put an end’ on issues like this, and even though there were few improvements, they are never actually solved.
Isn’t it time to see ourselves as a people, as the Humans we are?
Our basic characteristic in this world we live in is being Humans and, at least theoretically, intelligent. We have abilities to improve and adapt our lifestyles, the way and what we eat, etc… and in none of those cases, the color of the skin, the gender, and so on, make any difference. The only things that make a difference are the talents, the capacity and strength that each one has to offer and aggregate.
Thinking like this, we are all one people, aren’t we? So, as Humans, why categorize?
The prejudice exists in that, or better, in the One who separates. Because, generally, in our society, what is separated becomes ‘different’, excluded.
It’s importante to ask:
Whose is the prejudice? The One who separates with aggressive actions, whatever they are? Or the One who separates the other making them different and classifying them in groups?
… Both?
What difference does it make if a construction, delivered in perfect conditions, as it’s always supposed to be, was built by a black, blue, green or white engineer?
All activities, in any society, should be done simply because they need to be done, not more nor less, and for that it’s necessary that we have individuals who are capable of doing them in an adequate way. The color, the gender, height, weight make no difference, but the will and talent do!
It’s not necessary to say that, yeah, we are different from each other, physically, emotionally, mentally, but when we focus on the difference, most of the times, we lose sight of the whole concept, of who WE are: Humans! That said, when the difference should be the addition, the thing that comes to sum up and aggregate, it actually ends up being used to exclude.
Sometimes I hear or read: ‘but at one point we have to fight for the rights of a minority that wasn’t respected…’
There’s an answer for that, in the Constitution of all decent countries in the world, did you know that? Take a look at yours… (this one I posted on the Portuguese version is Brazil’s Constitution articles)
Can you understand? We don’t need to create any minority groups! We need to destroy these concepts! We need to use, and A LOT, the concept of HUMANITY.
Do you want to demand for something? Ask for the observance of the Constitution.
This way, if anybody, at any day, commit a crime, they won’t be charged for doing something wrong to a black, green, yellow, or gay person, but because it was something against a HUMAN BEING.
Most of the times we believe to be fighting against a problematic issue, but, in reality, we’re just making it worst!
